When you check out at Kutogo, you're agreeing to the billing terms below. We've kept things straightforward — no fine print designed to trip you up. Here's exactly how billing works on our site.

How We Charge You

  • Full payment upfront. When you place an order, your payment method is charged the full amount immediately, including taxes and any expedited shipping fees. We don't offer partial billing or installment plans yet.
  • Pre-sale items. Same deal — pre-orders are charged in full when you place the order, even though the product ships later once the manufacturer releases it.
  • Single transaction. You'll see one charge on your statement covering your entire order: products, taxes, and shipping (if applicable).

Payment Methods We Accept

We work with secure, PCI-compliant payment processors so your information stays protected. At checkout you can use:

  • Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
  • Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
  • Online Payments: PayPal

We don't accept checks, money orders, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or cash on delivery.

Currency

All prices, charges, and refunds on kutogo.com are in U.S. Dollars (USD). If your card is in another currency, your bank handles the conversion at their current rate and may add their own fees — that's between you and your bank.

Sales Tax

We collect sales tax where required by U.S. state law. The exact amount depends on your shipping address and is calculated automatically at checkout — you'll see the full breakdown before you submit your order. If you're a tax-exempt buyer (reseller, nonprofit, etc.), email us at contact@kutogo.com with your exemption certificate before placing your order. We can't refund tax retroactively once an order is processed.

Authorization Holds

When you submit your order, your bank may place a temporary authorization hold on your account for the order amount. This isn't an actual charge — it just confirms the funds are available. The hold drops off and the real charge posts once we ship. If your order is canceled or declined, the hold usually disappears within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.

Failed or Declined Payments

Payments can fail for many reasons. If yours does:

  • We'll send you an email to let you know
  • You'll have 48 hours to update your payment info
  • If we don't hear back, the order is canceled automatically
  • Your items go back into available stock — with no guarantee they'll still be there if you reorder later

Billing Address

Your billing address must match what your bank or card issuer has on file. Mismatches are one of the top reasons orders get declined or flagged for fraud review. If you're shipping to a different address than your billing one, that's fine — just enter both correctly at checkout.

Subscriptions & Recurring Billing

Kutogo doesn't currently offer subscriptions or recurring charges. Every order is a one-time transaction. If we ever launch a subscription product, we'll update this section and notify customers in advance.

Pricing Changes

The card and hobby box market shifts constantly. Because of that:

  • Prices on our site can change at any time without notice
  • Prices in your cart aren't locked in until you complete checkout
  • Once your order is placed, your price is locked in — we won't charge more even if prices rise
  • We don't refund the difference if prices drop after your purchase

Disputed Charges & Chargebacks

If you don't recognize a charge from Kutogo, please contact us first before disputing it with your bank. Filing a chargeback without reaching out first can result in:

  • Your account being suspended
  • A ban on placing future orders with Kutogo
  • Recovery action through collections if the chargeback is later reversed

Promotional Codes & Discounts

  • Codes apply only to qualifying products listed in the promotion
  • Only one promo code can be used per order
  • Codes can't be combined with other offers unless we say otherwise
  • Expired or misused codes won't be honored after the order is placed
  • We reserve the right to cancel codes that are being used fraudulently

Receipt & Order Confirmation

After every successful order, you'll receive a confirmation email that serves as your receipt. It includes your order number, product list, tax and shipping breakdown, and the total amount charged. Hold onto this email for your records.

Refunds

Refund eligibility and processing are covered in detail in our Refund and Returns Policy. In short:

  • Refunds go back to your original payment method
  • Allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the mistake was ours
